Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: • High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Industrial Electrical/Electronic Field Service or a related discipline.• Fundamental understanding of electronic components and their functions.• Basic knowledge of electronic circuits and their operational principles.• Capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 85 lbs.• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including some nights and weekends.• Compliance with any additional requirements typically expected by Konecranes. Preferred Qualifications:• Experience in AC/DC Power Conversion and Control.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to foster effective relationships with customers.• An Associate's degree in a technical field is desirable.• Familiarity with mechanical principles, electronics, and AC/DC power distribution.• Knowledge of communication systems.• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Technical Service or Field Engineering.• Background in power and electronic service is a plus.

Job Position - Inverter Repair Technician
As an Inverter Repair Technician at Konecranes, you will be responsible for diagnosing, testing, and repairing inverter systems in compliance with our high standards. Your role is crucial in maintaining and servicing inverters and related equipment to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
You will engage in on-site remote customer service, troubleshooting, and repairs of inverter equipment at various ports across North and South America. Additionally, you will conduct depot-level repairs, testing, and recertification of inverters.
Your technical expertise will extend to providing support to customers and fellow technicians, ensuring every repair job is accurately documented and reported upon completion. Adherence to established safety protocols and procedures is mandatory, including those set forth by the customer.
Conducting root cause analysis on equipment failures will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be expected to stay updated on OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI, and other industry regulations.
When necessary, you will prepare repair proposals and pricing for customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism in interactions with both customers and colleagues. All company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets must be maintained in optimal working condition, and you will operate tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
