Interim Municipal Secretary
Bestman · Bestuur & Management regularly receives requests to present candidates for interim municipal secretary positions. We are seeking dynamic and experienced individuals who can effectively support and advise the municipal board, manage the administrative organization, and liaise with key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing independent advice and support to the municipal council.
- Leading the municipal administrative organization.
- Conducting periodic consultations with the Works Council as a Works Council Director.
- Maintaining and fostering collaborations with crucial stakeholders.
Experience as a municipal secretary is a prerequisite for this role. The position may involve:
- Filling in temporarily during the recruitment process for a permanent secretary.
- Assisting in organizational restructuring or management investigations.
- Acting as a temporary replacement due to municipal reorganization.
The nature of the assignment may vary, requiring either a developmental or a managerial focus. In some instances, the role may also include conducting research.
