Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance
About NODA
NODA is a veteran-owned, venture-backed technology firm revolutionizing the collaboration of unmanned systems in intricate, mission-critical settings. We are pioneering next-generation solutions that facilitate the autonomous orchestration of diverse unmanned systems across air, sea, land, and space, with vital applications in defense, intelligence, and commercial sectors.
As an Integration Engineer, you will be a pivotal link between our orchestration platform and a variety of autonomous systems, crafting the software interfaces and integration layers that enable seamless multi-domain operations in real-world scenarios.
Joining NODA means engaging with groundbreaking technology that challenges the limits of autonomy while collaborating with a team dedicated to innovation, swift development, and teamwork.
The Role
We are looking for an Integration Engineer to design and implement software integrations that connect our autonomous orchestration platform with unmanned vehicles, sensors, and partner systems. This is a hands-on software engineering position focused on developing adapters, protocol translators, and integration layers that ensure diverse systems operate in harmony.
Your responsibilities will include coding to link our platform with vehicle control systems (MAVLink, custom APIs), creating interfaces for sensors and payloads, and deploying software in sophisticated network environments. This role merges software development with field deployment—you'll build integrations in the lab and validate them through live operations with defense and commercial partners. Expect up to 50% travel for field tests, demonstrations, and customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software adapters and integration layers connecting our orchestration platform to unmanned vehicles, sensors, and third-party systems across various domains.
- Create and maintain protocol translators for vehicle control systems (MAVLink, ROS/ROS2, custom APIs) and sensor data interfaces.
- Design, execute, and automate integration tests to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Deploy and configure software integrations in operational settings, including complex network arrangements for multi-domain connectivity.
- Provide hands-on technical support during field operations and assist in troubleshooting integration issues.
