About the job
Are You the One?
You understand the importance of training military personnel, providing direction, and taking responsibility for their development. Perhaps you're longing for the structure, camaraderie, and collaboration with colleagues who uphold the same standards. The skills of training, coaching, and observing are still fresh within you. As part of the Basic Training for Non-Commissioned Officers, you can reignite that expertise. Through Triangular Group, you will guide future non-commissioned officers embarking on their journey with the Royal Air Force.
Your Responsibilities
We are looking for six instructors for the EVO department of 130 Squadron under the Command of Space and Air Forces. You will be responsible for delivering the Basic Training for Non-Commissioned Officers, focusing on craftsmanship, leadership, and mentorship. You will foster a learning environment that encourages students to take charge of their development and grow into their roles as future non-commissioned officers.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and learning pathways within the BVO
- Guide students in leadership, communication, and professional demeanor
- Observe group dynamics and provide targeted feedback
- Collaborate with training actors during scenario-based and behavior-focused exercises
- Ensure the quality of the training program and propose enhancements
- Work closely with fellow instructors within 130 Squadron
- Support the development of a safe, reflective, and professional learning environment
Your Work Environment
You will operate within the 130 Squadron of the CLRS, specifically in the Basic Training of Non-Commissioned Officers department. The working environment includes classrooms, training facilities, and practice locations where theory meets practice. You will collaborate with instructors who have firsthand experience within the Air Force and share a common culture and standards of work.
You will report to a training coordinator or section commander, with whom you will regularly discuss planning, content, and progress. Meetings will focus on uniformity, quality, and the ongoing development of the training program. TG colleagues are present at various intervals, and occasional visits to the headquarters in Heerle will occur.
