In the Urban Operations Training (OVG), you can apply your expertise once again. Through Triangular Group, you'll be involved in training military personnel to excel in urban terrain operations.
Your Responsibilities
As an OVG Instructor, you'll be part of the training team in Oostdorp (Harskamp). Your role will involve training soldiers who operate within the intricate contexts of urban environments, transforming your operational experience into realistic and applicable instruction. You will collaborate with a dedicated team focused on enhancing the training level and readiness of military units.
- Conducting lessons and training sessions on Urban Operations
- Guiding soldiers during scenario exercises in urban settings
- Providing feedback on performance, teamwork, and tactical actions
- Ensuring safety and structure during all training moments
- Collaborating with fellow instructors to further develop the curriculum
- Maintaining continuity in training execution throughout your appointment
Your Workplace
You will work at the Harskamp location (Oostdorp), equipped with training villages, buildings, and facilities for realistic OVG exercises. You will be part of a team of instructors with military backgrounds in infantry, reconnaissance, and urban operations. You will report to a section commander or training coordinator, with regular consultations regarding planning, content, and progress focused on uniformity, safety, and improvement of the training program. TG colleagues will be present at various times, with occasional visits to the headquarters in Heerle.
