Through Triangular Group, you will assist soldiers who are temporarily sidelined, helping them return stronger and more motivated to their training.
Your Responsibilities
As an instructor at the SMR in Schaarsbergen, you will guide soldiers who have temporarily fallen out of their training programs. You will provide physical and mental support, ensuring they remain engaged with foundational military skills. Your role will encompass classroom instruction, outdoor training, and multi-day exercises, fostering an environment where discipline, recovery, and personal growth converge.
- Teach fundamental military skills
- Facilitate daily training sessions and multi-day exercises
- Coach soldiers in both their professional and personal development
- Support participants in their physical and mental recovery
- Provide structure, motivation, and a clear path back to their training
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to create a safe and effective learning atmosphere
Work Environment
You will be working at the Sport Medical Rehabilitation Platoon in Schaarsbergen, where soldiers are temporarily accommodated to recover and maintain their foundational skills. The work environment features classrooms, sports facilities, and training grounds focused on practical training. You will collaborate with instructors and mentors who have hands-on operational experience, regularly coordinating with a training coordinator on planning, progress, and quality. Meetings will focus on consistency, safety, and program enhancement, with TG colleagues present at various times. Occasional visits to the headquarters in Heerle will be part of your role.
