Job Summary:
As an Inside Sales Engineer at Johnson Barrow, Inc., you will be instrumental in supporting our Outside Sales Engineers by providing premier HVAC solutions to our esteemed customers. Your role will involve a variety of pre-sale and post-sale tasks, including estimating, quoting, customer communications, equipment submittals, and on-site technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the design and layout of commercial HVAC systems, focusing on component selection and refrigerant piping layout.
- Prepare precise equipment selections and quotes for the Outside Sales team based on mechanical plans and specifications, along with parts quotes for replacement equipment.
- Deliver first-level technical assistance for equipment installations and provide support for existing equipment as needed.
- Manage customer accounts not assigned to an Outside Sales Engineer, ensuring exemplary service.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, showcasing a solid foundation in the field.
- Prior experience with commercial HVAC equipment is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software is essential for effective contributions to system layouts.
- A comprehensive understanding of construction and contracting models, including Design/Build concepts, will be beneficial in this role.
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000/year plus bonus
