Join our team as an HVAC Technician at Constance Le Chaland, where you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your expertise will guide improvements to our mechanical systems, while you implement a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance program.
Key responsibilities include performing electric arc welding, argon gas welding, and oxy-acetylene welding, alongside minor fabrication and metal work as necessary. You will assist the Assistant Chief Engineer in preparing spare parts lists, ensuring efficient stock control and ordering of materials.
Responding to Guestroom Maintenance requests and fulfilling shift duties assigned by supervisors will be part of your role. We value ongoing professional development, so you will participate in meetings and training sessions as required. Compliance with Constance Safety, Fire, and Hygiene policies is essential, as is adherence to departmental standards and procedures.
As a proactive contributor to our resort's energy conservation initiatives, you will maintain a clean and safe workshop environment and keep issued hand tools in proper working order. Accurate recording of daily activities is vital, as is collaboration with fellow engineering department members and resort contractors.
In addition, you may be called upon to assist other departments in delivering specialized services for functions and events, and act as a Fire Brigade Team Member when assigned.
