The HVAC Branch Manager will lead and oversee the successful sales and operations of our Houston, TX location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, safety and quality management, fostering positive employee morale, enhancing customer service and the overall customer experience, increasing sales of units, parts, and supplies, as well as inventory management and overseeing P&L and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support regional sales and operations by managing all aspects of the branch.
- Foster a culture of Zero Harm, ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and the environment.
- Provide comprehensive training for personnel on equipment operation, focusing on vehicle and forklift safety.
- Ensure timely reporting and investigation of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.
- Enhance customer relationships and improve the customer experience.
- Ensure efficient operations according to established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and train branch employees to maximize their effectiveness, including hiring, evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with management and HR.
- Maintain precise inventory control to meet customer needs while achieving a minimum of 98% SKU accuracy.
- Oversee all shipping and receiving activities to ensure safe and efficient handling and storage of products.
- Manage product selection and pricing, adjusting orders as necessary to maintain margins.
