Your responsibilities will include managing the daily operations of the HR department, directing HR systems and initiatives to meet the company’s business objectives. Your ultimate aim will be to address all HR needs, focusing on recruitment, training, employee engagement, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all HR initiatives, systems, and strategies.
- Develop strategies that enhance employee performance, staffing, training, and development.
- Ensure compliance with external regulatory standards regarding employee licensing and development.
- Supervise and mentor HR staff, providing professional guidance.
- Act as the primary contact for employment relations matters.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and legal requirements.
- Address grievances and enforce disciplinary actions when necessary, while proactively managing litigation risks.
- Provide analytical reports and insights to senior management utilizing HR metrics.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals regarding staffing and retention.
- Design, implement, and manage HR policies, processes, training programs, and compliance initiatives.
- Oversee HR programs related to compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and occupational health and safety.
- Assess staffing and recruitment needs, implementing best practices in talent management.
- Conduct research and analyze organizational trends through HRIS or talent management systems.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; adjust policies as necessary.
- Stay updated on trends and changes in HR, talent management, and employment law, communicating necessary changes to upper management.
