Purpose of the Role
The HR Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering operational HR support throughout the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring precision, adherence to UK employment legislation, and a high standard of service delivery. While primarily based in Scotland, this role will also encompass HR functions for the London team and contribute to Group HR initiatives as part of a globally connected HR community. This position offers extensive exposure to diverse HR functions and represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious team player eager to accelerate their professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining precise employee records, HRIS data, contracts, and documentation in compliance with GDPR standards.
Coordinating payroll updates and ensuring seamless monthly processing.
Assisting with HR cost management for the UK.
Preparing HR-related correspondence, employment contracts, and onboarding materials.
Managing recruitment for junior and mid-level positions, including job postings, CV screening, and interview coordination.
Delivering an effective onboarding experience for new hires in both the Scotland and London teams.
Serving as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and basic employee relations matters.
Supporting case management activities, including probation reviews and attendance tracking.
