The Role
The HR Generalist (APJ) will report to the HR Business Partner Manager. In collaboration with HR Business Partners, you will provide essential guidance to employees and managers, addressing queries and promoting employee engagement as the primary HR contact for APJ employees. You will propose and implement effective HR solutions that align employee needs with business goals, fostering morale, culture, workplace relationships, productivity, and retention. You will also advise on HR policies and procedures to enhance company culture and ensure compliance.
As the sole HR team member in the APJ region, you will play a vital role in supporting the broader HR teams in Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and HR Operations as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver daily operational HR support to managers and employees.
- Provide regional benefits assistance to the Total Rewards team, managers, and employees.
- Coordinate employee onboarding for the APJ, Middle East, and EMEA regions.
- Ensure compliance with global requirements and facilitate semi-annual compliance training.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes with other HR Generalists.
- Lead culture initiatives in collaboration with the Global Culture Committee.
- Manage office operations in conjunction with the global Facilities leader.
- Administer the probation review process for the global employee base.
- Assist with in-person and remote events for Singapore and other APJ offices.
- Support Talent Acquisition with local job postings.
- Assist the Legal team with local immigration requirements as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources, adept at managing the employee lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Singapore employment regulations with a willingness to learn about global regulations.
- Understanding of local labor considerations and employment practices in Singapore.
