The ideal candidate will be adept at managing local employment matters in the Philippines while also supporting various operational business tasks.
Key Attributes:
- Fluent English communication skills – both written and verbal
- Meticulous attention to detail in documentation and task execution
- Strong organizational abilities and time management skills
- Capable of independent work in a remote setting
- Technologically proficient – experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS applications, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
- Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace with reliable internet connectivity
- Willingness to work during U.S. business hours, including potential night shifts
- Examples of expected hours: 3 PM to 12 AM EET; 5 PM to 2 AM EET; or 8 PM to 5 AM EET
- Preference for at least 3 to 4 hours of overlap with U.S. daytime.
Primary HR Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with existing Datex employees in the Philippines to ensure accurate processing of timesheets and payroll.
- Conduct recruitment and pre-screening of candidates within the Philippines.
- Generate and distribute job offers, contracts, and relevant documents for approval/signature.
- Organize and maintain signed contracts and HR documents; oversee encoding for employee files.
- Prepare payroll-related documentation for new hires and manage the routing of these documents for signatures.
- Coordinate with the U.S. Director of HR on grievances, disciplinary actions, and other labor-related issues.
- Work with local legal and HR consultants as necessary.
- Facilitate pre-termination investigations and hearings.
- Advise U.S. HR on developing and updating best-practice company policies.
- Manage the progression of probationary employees to regular status, including reminders to managers.
- Keep U.S. HR updated on changes in national labor policies and public holidays.
- Attend job fairs for recruitment promotion as needed.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation.
- Address employee inquiries concerning compensation and benefits.
- Oversee HMO/Health Insurance administration.
- Perform other HR duties as assigned.
Key Business Office Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the U.S. finance department on banking, agreements, errands, payroll, and other operational matters.
