The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a pivotal role in maintaining the exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and guest service standards throughout the hotel. This position involves overseeing the daily activities of Room Attendants, performing room and area inspections, and collaborating with various departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of assigned guestroom floors and public areas.
Conduct comprehensive inspections of guest rooms, corridors, pantries, and service areas to ensure compliance with brand standards.
Guide and mentor Room Attendants and Housemen to uphold consistent quality and efficiency.
Quickly respond to guest requests and ensure all preferences or special instructions are meticulously followed.
Train, coach, and support housekeeping staff in their roles, focusing on health, safety, and grooming standards.
Ensure sufficient stock levels of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies are maintained.
Report and monitor maintenance issues or discrepancies related to room status.
Enforce proper handling and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
Coordinate with the Front Office and Engineering departments for smooth room operations and maintenance follow-ups.
Assist in planning staff schedules and daily task assignments.
