As a Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQE) Advisor at Culina Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of both internal and external audit programs. Your guidance will be essential in maintaining compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management Systems as well as legal, client, and business requirements.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
This position can be based in Wentworth Park, Barnsley, Yorkshire, or the Cumbria area. Travel will be required to support various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sites to enhance HSE practices and facilitate continuous improvements in company procedures.
- Develop and manage an annual risk-based HSE program for designated sites, conducting audits using the latest documentation to ensure adherence to the audit framework.
- Generate and distribute audit findings and non-conformance reports.
- Provide expert guidance and support to meet audit standards.
- Conduct HSE site visits, crafting detailed reports, and ensuring implementation of all recommendations.
- Oversee and support sites with external audit initiatives.
- Advise on the creation, maintenance, and execution of Risk Assessments (including COSHH), safe work systems, and the appropriate use of protective equipment.
- Stay informed of new processes, techniques, and legislative changes impacting HSE practices within the organization.
- Thoroughly investigate accidents and hazardous occurrences, providing reports that detail causes, conclusions, and measures to prevent reoccurrence.
- Work alongside the training department to ensure regular safety training for staff.
- Conduct fire and facility audits and Risk Assessments.
