Position Overview:
The HSE Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on construction sites. This position entails both administrative and operational oversight, monitoring HSE compliance, and implementing safety policies in alignment with regulatory requirements. The engineer will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations, while fostering a proactive safety culture among all site personnel. Key functions include identifying and mitigating site hazards, ensuring compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS), and facilitating HSE training and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce HSE policies, procedures, and regulations at the construction site.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
- Identify unsafe conditions and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations.
- Deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks for site staff.
- Oversee proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
- Assist in the implementation and auditing of the IMS for ongoing improvement.
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records in accordance with regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE practices into daily operations.
Location: Available in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
