Situated in Wilmington, Delaware, FCSW is dedicated to empowering students, particularly those from historically underserved backgrounds, to achieve college success and fully engage in civic life. Established over a decade ago, FCSW provides a unique five-year college preparatory model for students starting from 8th grade through high school, designed to meet them at their academic level while equipping them with the persistence, skills, and confidence essential for success in higher education and beyond. As one of the few non-selective public charter high school options in Wilmington, Freire plays a vital role in shaping the local educational landscape.
