Key ResponsibilitiesLead and expand the IBAN sales desk, ensuring performance and accountabilityDevelop and maintain the sales strategy for IBAN solutions across corporate and institutional segmentsBuild, manage, and convert a high-value pipeline of corporate and institutional clientsServe as the senior commercial contact for key strategic clients and complex dealsEstablish desk targets, sales processes, and reporting rhythms (CRM discipline, forecasting, KPIs)Recruit, train, and mentor IBAN sales professionals as the desk growsCollaborate closely with Compliance, Onboarding, Operations, and Senior Management to ensure effective deliveryIdentify new verticals and partnerships (e.g., PSPs, funds, brokers, fintechs)Maintain in-depth knowledge of IBAN, payments, safeguarding, AML/KYC, and regulatory considerationsRepresent Ballinger Group at industry events and client meetingsWhat We’re Looking ForDemonstrated success in sales leadership within FX, payments, fintech, EMI, or banking sectorsProven track record in selling IBAN solutions or payment infrastructure to corporate and institutional clientsStrong commercial acumen with experience in closing high-value, complex dealsAbility to build and lead a sales desk: coaching, motivating, and driving KPIsDeep understanding of payment rails, IBAN issuance, settlement, and operational deliveryConfidence in engaging with senior decision-makers (CFOs, Treasurers, Heads of Ops, Fund Controllers)Highly organized, data-driven, and skilled in performance forecasting and reportingA collaborative leadership style that fosters cross-functional teamworkDesirable ExperienceEstablished network in UK/EU corporate payments, institutional FX, or fintech partnershipsExperience in selling to funds, PSPs, brokers, or financial institutionsFamiliarity with multi-currency accounts, safeguarding, SEPA/SWIFT, and payment operations

The Role
