Join the Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort as our next talented Head Chef. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced culinary leader to take charge of our kitchen team on a full-time basis.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring that our guests receive the highest quality food, exceptional presentation, and outstanding service. The ideal candidate will inspire the culinary team, foster menu innovation, and ensure efficient and compliant kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to achieve peak performance and uphold culinary standards.
- Direct meal preparation and cooking processes to meet high standards of quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement innovative menus, including seasonal specials, aligned with guest preferences and brand identity.
- Manage food costs, inventory, and stock control to meet budgetary goals.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), HACCP, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with management to support operational and strategic goals, including staff training and development.
- Continuously assess kitchen operations for opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality.
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Flexibility to work across all meal services, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays.
- Immediate start available.
