THE ROLE:
We are on the lookout for a Group Director, Client Partner who will serve as the strategic US Anchor for one of our most vital enterprise accounts, with potential for expansion to other clients.
In this role, you will oversee the client relationship for a significant AI Acceleration program, acting as the primary liaison between eBay’s West Coast leadership and our expert engineering and consultancy teams based in EMEA.
This position is strategic in nature rather than technical. We require your expertise in navigating organizational structures, building trust with VPs, and translating intricate technical outcomes into business value. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our swift engineering delivery resonates effectively with stakeholders, mitigates political obstacles, and evolves a pilot program into a sustainable partnership.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Client Partnership & Strategic Navigation
- The Trusted Advisor: Cultivate and sustain deep relationships with key stakeholders (Marketing, MarTech, Core AI) in the US Pacific Time Zone, ensuring DEPT® is recognized as a strategic transformation partner rather than merely an execution vendor.
- Stakeholder Mapping: Proactively identify and navigate potential blockers or political sensitivities within the client organization, aligning Marketing goals with IT/InfoSec constraints to safeguard delivery timelines.
- Business Translation: Convert complex technical concepts from our EMEA engineering teams into straightforward, commercial language for client leadership, while also translating ambiguous marketing aspirations into actionable directives for our delivery teams.
