Elmhurst University is excited to announce an opportunity for a Graduate Assistantship within the Men's Wrestling program for the 2026-2027 academic year, with the potential for renewal in 2027-2028. This position is exclusively for enrolled graduate students. Candidates must apply for and gain acceptance into a qualifying degree program at elmhurst.edu/graduatestudies to be eligible for this assistantship.
Graduate Assistants at Elmhurst University may receive a full tuition waiver in exchange for 20 hours of service per week. Additionally, a bi-weekly stipend will be provided to support their educational pursuits. Positions are typically held throughout the Fall and Spring terms, with possible involvement in January and/or Summer terms.
Eligible Graduate Programs: Master of Business Administration, M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
Weekly Commitment: 20 hours
Tuition Waiver: Full coverage
Stipend: $5,625 annually, disbursed at $625 per month from September to May.
Term Duration: Fall 2026, January 2027, and Spring 2027; renewable for 2027-2028.
Assistantship Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach in strategizing, organizing, and assessing all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III Men's Wrestling program.
- Support the recruitment of student-athletes who embody the values and excellence of Elmhurst University.
- Ensure compliance with NCAA, CCIW, and Elmhurst University regulations at all times.
Important Notes:
Offers for the Graduate Assistant position are contingent upon acceptance into the specified graduate programs. Graduate students are required to maintain full-time enrollment to retain their assistantship. Any violations of NCAA regulations will result in disciplinary actions, which may include suspension or termination.
