ABOUT YOUR ROLE
In your pivotal role as the Global Quality Director, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Operations & Supply Chain and will be an integral part of the Intelligent Labels (IL) global operations leadership team. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the global quality team in deploying and sustaining quality systems, tools, and processes throughout our comprehensive value chain, from raw materials to final customer delivery. With a focus on optimizing RFID technology performance, you will ensure that all manufactured and serviced products meet or exceed customer requirements, achieving the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your innovative mindset and problem-solving abilities will be essential as you implement critical quality assurance strategies and manage multiple complex global projects.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Overseeing the strategic and operational performance of the quality function within the Intelligent Labels business, ensuring production operations consistently meet quality, integrity, and efficiency standards.
- Providing strategic and operational support to enhance customer quality excellence and experience, reinforcing our leadership position in the RFID industry.
- Leading and developing a global, multicultural quality organization focused on driving preventive and predictive actions in collaboration with key functions, including commercial, R&D, Product Line Management, Platform, and Engineering, as well as external partners and suppliers.
- Advocating for customers on quality-related issues and effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including executive management. Managing customer complaint resolutions and facilitating customer audits while implementing world-class quality practices across all manufacturing sites.
- Implementing robust quality practices within the supply chain to ensure raw materials meet the stringent demands of high-speed RFID manufacturing.
- Collaborating with manufacturing sites to guarantee compliance with quality requirements during internal and third-party audits.
- Building and refining processes to enhance product quality, including supporting process documentation and metrics identification.
- Delivering results in a dynamic business environment while providing effective leadership and guidance to the global quality teams.
