The Global Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) will spearhead the development, management, and delivery of HEOR initiatives within the designated Therapeutic Area (TA). This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to, conducting cost-effectiveness and comparative effectiveness analyses, generating real-world evidence, evaluating patient-reported outcomes, executing epidemiological initiatives, and formulating core value dossiers along with HTA and reimbursement strategies for both existing and developmental compounds.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Global Head of HEOR to implement strategic objectives that align with brand strategies. The position calls for exceptional interpersonal skills, proficiency in matrix team dynamics, project management expertise, and a solid understanding of HEOR principles and pharmaceutical research methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HEOR strategies tailored for the assigned TA or product across all SOBI commercial territories.
- Actively engage with the Global Patient Access group to foster collaboration with team members, both globally and in local markets.
- Work in conjunction with in-country patient access leaders to ensure alignment of health outcome and value plans with global strategies for each brand.
- Support long-term HEOR business goals and budgetary objectives through evidence generation, synthesis, communication, and refinement.
- Identify, design, and lead Global HEOR projects, including prospective and retrospective protocol development, economic modeling, and scientific publications.
- Stay abreast of changes in the healthcare and economic landscape to proactively address their potential impact on the business.
- Contribute to the Global HEOR business planning process that aligns with therapeutic area strategies and local HTA requirements.
- Represent SOBI at external HEOR conferences and meetings.
