CIMA+ is actively seeking a talented Geotechnical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team of geotechnical engineers, geologists, and environmental specialists.
This role, based in one of our offices in the Quebec region, will provide you with the opportunity to grow within diverse teams and participate in exciting projects.
Your expertise in soil mechanics will enable you to contribute to a variety of engaging projects, including the design, rehabilitation, or construction of buildings, infrastructure, hydraulic structures, earthworks, slope stability, roads, temporary and permanent support systems, deep and conventional foundations, and much more.
We offer a flexible hybrid work model that allows you to work from home and in one of our offices.
Your contributions to the team:
- Conduct and oversee comprehensive geotechnical studies from planning to report writing, including surveys, drilling, laboratory testing, and design recommendations.
- Inspect, assess safety, and standardize earthen dams.
- Coordinate studies, engineering, fieldwork, as well as relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare technical documents, such as submissions for interdepartmental or public tenders, as well as plans and specifications for earthworks, slope stabilization, and bank protection, with the support of experienced drafters.
- Mentor, train, and guide junior engineers, interns, or trainees while actively participating in team development.
