Kira is seeking a dynamic General Manager to spearhead our expansion efforts across Spanish-speaking Latin America, excluding Brazil. This pivotal role involves enhancing Kira's existing deployments while forging into new markets, cultivating government and institutional alliances, and cementing Kira as the premier standard in AI education throughout the region.
As the General Manager for LATAM, you will pinpoint high-potential markets, replicate successful strategies from current deployments, and create an adaptable go-to-market strategy tailored for diverse educational systems in K-12, higher education, and workforce development.
Core Responsibilities
1. Regional Strategy & Market Prioritization
Formulate and execute Kira's strategy for Latin America, prioritizing markets based on potential, readiness, and strategic alignment.
Gain insights into the educational landscape across key markets, including Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Central America, and the Caribbean, in K-12, higher education, and workforce training sectors.
Analyze market patterns and variances to establish efficient regional strategies.
Balance immediate opportunities with structured market development.
2. Existing Market Expansion & Reference Building
Drive success in current deployments, establishing them as benchmarks for AI-driven education at a national scale.
Document and structure this successful model for adaptation in other markets.
Utilize existing relationships and successes to facilitate entry into new markets.
Develop case studies and supporting evidence to expedite sales processes in other regions.
3. Government & Ministry Relationships
Cultivate relationships with education ministries, presidential offices, and essential decision-makers in target markets.
Understand the mechanics of education decision-making and funding in each prioritized country.
Position Kira to participate in national and regional programs, including multilateral funding opportunities from organizations like IDB, World Bank, and CAF.
4. Sales & Partnerships
Take ownership of revenue targets for the Latin American region and construct effective sales strategies.
