About the Position
KP Reddy Company (KPR Co) stands as the premier authority in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sector, championing technology evolution, innovation, and the future landscape of the built environment. Our dynamic blend of curated industry events, engaging media content—including the leading AEC podcast, a newsletter with over 40,000 subscribers, and an expanding research library—alongside exclusive membership communities such as Mastermind groups, the Integrated Owners Forum, and the Catalyst network, empowers us to gather, educate, and guide the visionaries who are shaping the future of AEC.
At KPR Co, we also bolster a diverse array of AEC businesses by connecting them with the industry's most passionate leaders and decision-makers. Through strategic sponsorships, program integrations, and tailored marketing support, we assist our partners in enhancing brand visibility, generating leads, and refining their market positioning.
We are on the lookout for a General Manager who will oversee the daily operations of KPR Co and drive sustainable business growth. This role is very much hands-on—taking full ownership of the P&L across events, memberships, and media, while promoting audience expansion and strengthening community involvement.
As an individual contributor, you will be supported by an exceptional sales team that engages with leads generated by marketing and facilitates the initial sales interactions before turning the closing process over to you. There is significant potential for team development around this role as our company continues to scale.
Core Responsibilities
P&L Management & Sustainable Development
• Take complete ownership of KPR Co’s P&L, ensuring profitability (aiming for a 10% margin) across all operational sectors: events, memberships, and media/content. Our focus is on creating a self-sustaining business model, prioritizing audience growth and engagement depth over mere margin maximization.
• Formulate and implement growth strategies tailored to each business segment, with a strong emphasis on increasing audience size, membership counts, and event participation while ensuring cost coverage through sponsorships and memberships.
• Establish and maintain a revenue forecasting rhythm; provide regular financial insights and variance reports to leadership.
• Explore and identify new revenue streams—including partnerships, licensing, digital products, and sponsorship opportunities—and present recommendations to leadership.
• Efficiently manage accounts receivable: ensure timely invoicing, collections, and maintain a healthy cash flow.
Event Management & Community Engagement
• Lead the planning, execution, and P&L management of KPR Co’s event portfolio, including quarterly summits, IOF forums, workshops, partner events, and other initiatives.
