General Manager
Overview: As a General Manager at Jimmy John's, you will oversee all restaurant operations to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality products, while also driving profitability. Your role will focus on the precise execution of fast and accurate sandwich preparation, delivering world-class customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team consisting of 3 Assistant Managers and approximately 25-30 staff members, ensuring all work adheres to company standards.
- Manage the recruitment, training, evaluation, discipline, and termination processes for employees.
- Provide hands-on training for new hires to ensure they meet operational standards.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing of food and supplies, minimizing losses due to waste or theft.
- Assist in food preparation, sales, and service operations during busy periods.
- Forecast food consumption for each shift to optimize supply management.
- Ensure every customer receives outstanding service and support.
- Coordinate delivery routing and supervise drivers to enhance delivery efficiency.
- Perform daily food preparations, including slicing meats and vegetables and bread production.
- Execute operational systems and procedures with integrity and thoroughness.
- Complete daily, weekly, and period-end paperwork accurately.
- Conduct weekly management meetings to discuss performance and strategies.
- Perform audits of systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Maintain equipment and supplies through preventative maintenance.
- Handle cash management during shifts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
