Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to take ownership of our business's end-to-end operations. This pivotal role entails full P&L responsibility along with direct accountability for operations, engineering execution, customer delivery, quality assurance, compliance, and sustainable growth.
The General Manager will operate as an independent business leader within Amca, prioritizing initiatives, allocating resources, building an effective team, and driving results with an ownership mindset. This position requires a hands-on approach, close engagement with production and customers, and strong collaboration with Amca’s leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement and Business Development:
- Manage and nurture key customer relationships across aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors.
- Oversee requests for quotes (RFQs), pricing strategies, and contract execution for both standard and custom power products.
- Drive the development of new business opportunities within the existing customer base, with a focus on profitable and repeatable work.
- Represent the company at industry events and develop connections with prime contractors, Tier 1 suppliers, and sub-tier customers.
- Coordinate efforts across engineering, operations, and sales to align with customer priorities and delivery commitments.
Manufacturing and Engineering Operations:
- Ensure timely product delivery while adhering to quality, reliability, and regulatory standards.
- Manage production processes for low- to mid-volume, high-mix power electronics, encompassing both prototype and production builds.
- Direct materials planning, purchasing, and supply chain operations for electronic components and assemblies.
