ACCOUNTING & FINANCE

Our collaboration extends across various teams within the company, including international subsidiaries and external partners, ensuring our finance organization remains world-class. Our team comprises specialists in fields such as tax, treasury, purchasing, FP&A, and more.
What You'll Do
We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant (maternity cover) to oversee several of our UK-based subsidiaries. You will collaborate with existing members of the International Finance team and partner with them and other Epic members to deliver high-quality financial reporting, daily accounting tasks, and support for various finance-related projects. This role encompasses both financial reporting and operational aspects to facilitate accurate financial reporting at the US, UK, and statutory levels.
In this role, you will
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality in all aspects of General Ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Take ownership of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities for specific UK subsidiaries.
- Record journal entries promptly and accurately while performing reconciliations across GL accounts.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting, spending analysis, and expense coding for subsidiaries.
- Manage annual statutory audit requirements for selected UK subsidiaries.
- Collaborate on system and process improvements, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed.
- Handle fixed asset accounting and administration, including depreciation, asset tracking, and leases.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of recent and relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
