The Rental Service Agent plays a vital dual role:
- Championing customer experiences for rentals
- Acting as a sales specialist for RV demos and conversions
This position is key to ensuring customer satisfaction, whether they are starting a rental adventure or investing in their future RV.
THE ROLE
The Rental Service Agent is responsible for executing all customer-facing rental operations and conducting professional RV sales demonstrations aimed at converting leads into purchases. This hands-on, customer-focused role blends service excellence, product presentation, operational execution, and diligent follow-up sales management. In every aspect of rentals and sales, this role reflects Indie Campers' commitment to high standards.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Customer Service & Operations: Manage check-ins/check-outs, provide briefings, and offer ongoing rental support. Approach service recovery and emergencies with empathy.
- Sales Demonstrations & Customer Engagement: Prepare and execute RV demos that highlight features and specifications tailored to customer needs. Ensure seamless handovers and that all documentation is complete.
- Sales Conversion & Lead Management: Monitor leads, demos, and follow-ups in our CRM system. Transform rental customers into sales opportunities and assist the RV Sales District and City Lead in achieving targets.
- Product Knowledge & Technical Support: Stay informed about Indie Campers’ RV models and perform basic system demonstrations (lighting, gas, etc.). Troubleshoot and escalate issues when necessary.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Must have: 1-3 years of experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, rental, or automotive settings.
- Must possess: Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
- Must demonstrate: Ability to understand and explain technical RV/vehicle systems.
