Location: Hillsborough, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $70,000–$85,000/year plus comprehensive benefits package
Position Overview
We are excited to invite a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to our outpatient orthopedic clinic focused on patient recovery and rehabilitation. In this role, you will contribute to patient care by providing skilled treatment under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Our clinic is dedicated to achieving excellent clinical outcomes through ethical practices and a collaborative team approach that emphasizes high-quality care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, adhering to the established care plan.
- Implement effective treatments within the PTA scope of practice, including therapeutic exercises, functional training, neuromuscular re-education, balance and gait training, and other orthopedic interventions.
- Track patient progress and relay clinical observations or changes in status to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, safe movement techniques, and proper equipment usage as necessary.
- Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and progress in the EMR, in accordance with clinic policies and payer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with New Jersey practice regulations, APTA ethical standards, and Medicare/private insurance documentation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment.
- Engage in team meetings and clinic initiatives as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active New Jersey PTA license (or eligibility pending).
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach.
- Dependable, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to high standards of care.
