Join our dynamic team as a Full-Time Food Server at Boyd Gaming! Under general supervision, you will be responsible for obtaining guest food and beverage orders across various venues including Banquets, 19 Steak & Seafood, Stadium Sports Bar & Grill, and Out of Bounds. Your role is essential to ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and accurate service of food and beverages, collaborating closely with kitchen staff.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor, ensuring politeness and courtesy in all interactions with guests and teammates.
- Familiarize yourself with all Boyd Gaming outlets and be prepared to answer general inquiries regarding our property.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond with urgency and professionalism.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of menu items, including food preparation methods and wine selections, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
- Engage with guests to confirm their satisfaction with meals, addressing any concerns and notifying management as necessary.
- Manage payment transactions efficiently using the POS system.
- Assist in food preparation such as salads, appetizers, and desserts, and perform tableside cooking and presentations.
- Ensure service areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies and maintain cleanliness in dining and serving environments.
- Understand and adhere to all health department regulations and company policies regarding food safety and cleanliness.
- Participate actively in training programs and complete assigned duties as directed by supervisors.
