About the job
Join Ascertain's Innovative Team
At Ascertain, we are revolutionizing healthcare by developing AI agents that automate the administrative tasks that weigh heavily on care teams. Operating within major health systems and large specialty groups, we are saving hundreds of staff hours weekly, empowering healthcare professionals to focus more on patient care.
Supported by prominent investors such as Northwell Health, New York’s largest health system, and Deerfield Management, a leading healthcare investment firm, we are on a mission to enhance time management, trust, and focus among those who keep healthcare functioning smoothly. Our work is not just urgent due to startup pressures, but because our clients depend on us for financial resilience and operational clarity in a challenging environment.
About the Role
As a Full Stack Engineer specializing in Integrations at Ascertain, you will be instrumental in creating and deploying production systems that facilitate seamless healthcare workflows. You will tackle the complexities of healthcare operations, which often involve messy systems such as payer portals, practice management tools, spreadsheets, and outdated technologies.
Your core responsibilities will include designing and developing software that integrates these systems, enhances workflows, and transforms ambiguity into reliable, scalable solutions. Direct interaction with customers will be essential as you translate their operational realities into functional systems ready for production.
This hands-on role will require you to write code, build integrations, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of features. Additionally, you will identify recurring patterns across customer interactions and contribute insights back into our core product to facilitate scalable solutions.
This position is based in New York City with a hybrid work model, requiring occasional travel to meet with customers (approximately 10–20%). Collaboration with Product, Engineering, and client teams will be key, and you will report directly to the Chief Product Officer.
