Position Overview:
The Front Office Agent plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our reception area. This position entails welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out processes, addressing guest inquiries, and contributing to an unforgettable stay for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon their arrival and departure.
- Efficiently execute check-in and check-out procedures.
- Provide comprehensive information and respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services and amenities.
- Professionally manage guest requests and complaints, ensuring timely resolutions and escalating issues as necessary.
Reservations and Room Management:
- Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications with precision.
- Allocate rooms according to guest preferences and availability, following supervisor guidelines.
- Encourage room upgrades and additional services to enhance guest experiences and maximize revenue.
- Promote hotel facilities, including restaurants, bars, and the spa.
Financial Management:
- Oversee billing processes, including payment collection and invoice issuance.
- Manage room charges and other financial transactions accurately.
- Maintain meticulous records of all transactions.
Communication and Coordination:
- Respond to incoming phone calls and emails with professionalism.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, food and beverage) to ensure seamless service delivery.
