ABOUT THE ROLE
We are in search of a highly skilled and forward-thinking Front-End Engineer to be part of a dedicated team tasked with the architectural migration of prominent marketing pages for a leading global technology client.
In this position, you will transition from a legacy static HTML environment to a contemporary, scalable React-based architecture with Server-Side Rendering (SSR). You will collaborate closely with Design and Engineering leads to develop data-driven, atomic UI components that leverage structured content from a proprietary Headless CMS. Comfort in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Component Architecture & Development: Create and build a library of shared, atomic, and composable UI components utilizing React and TypeScript. Ensure components are accessible and responsive across all devices.
- Headless CMS Integration: Develop components that programmatically consume JSON data from the API, separating content from presentation. Collaborate with JSON schemas to validate data structures.
- Migration & Re-platforming: Spearhead the migration of existing pages from legacy builds to the new data-driven architecture.
- Documentation & Tooling: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for components using Storybook, detailing usage, variants, and integration points for future developers. Oversee package publishing through advanced NPM/Artifactory workflows.
- Quality & Optimization: Deliver pixel-perfect implementations while ensuring strict compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and SEO technical requirements.
- Collaboration: Partner with QA to resolve defects within a 24-hour SLA. Work alongside designers with a Shift Left mentality to guarantee technical feasibility early in the process.
