Position Overview
As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will play a pivotal role within our Localization Quality Assurance team. You will be among the first to experience the fully localized game, including translated text, images, and other user interface elements. Your work will directly impact the way players engage with our projects. Collaborating with a multilingual team, you will ensure that the game is devoid of grammatical mistakes, cultural discrepancies, and that it is accurately localized for the target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a global project team.
- Detect and rectify spelling, grammar, punctuation, and various language errors.
- Ensure compliance with console manufacturer guidelines.
- Document errors and issues, proposing suggestions for improvement.
- Verify accurate translation within context, maintaining consistency in terminology and visual elements.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper formatting of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Compile reports on errors and bugs identified, and engage in ad hoc translation tasks.
- Maintain high-quality standards in your work, collaborating with team members, and contributing to the project's overall success.
The Localization QA team conducts language checks on upcoming games across a variety of cutting-edge platforms, including PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation VR2, and multiple mobile and tablet devices. As an LQA Game Tester, you will be involved in high-profile gaming titles for some of the world’s most renowned publishers.
