Project Involvement Overview
Every project has distinct tasks, and contributors might be expected to:
- Craft comprehensive physics problems mirroring real-world applications;
- Assess AI solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and limitations;
- Validate numerical computations or simulations utilizing Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy);
- Refine AI reasoning to meet industry-standard logical frameworks;
- Implement structured evaluation criteria for multi-step problems.
Candidate Profile
This role is ideal for physicists with Python experience looking for part-time, non-permanent positions. Preferred candidates will possess:
- A degree in Physics or related disciplines, such as Engineering Physics, Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, or Optics and Acoustics;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in physics;
- Exceptional written English skills (C1/C2 level);
- Proficient Python skills for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (such as CPhys, EurPhys, MInstP) and experience with international or applied projects will be considered advantageous.

Time Commitment
During active phases, tasks are expected to take approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on project specifications. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload, applicable only while the project is ongoing.
Compensation Details
- Compensated contributions, with rates up to $55/hour*
- Rates may be fixed or variable based on project specifics;
- Some projects may offer additional incentive payments.
*Note: Compensation rates may differ based on expertise, skill assessments, location, project requirements, and other variables. Higher rates may be available for specialized experts, while lower rates may apply during onboarding or non-essential project phases. Payment specifics will be communicated per project.
