Opportunity Overview
Each project offers distinct challenges. As a contributor, your tasks may include:
- Developing mechanical engineering problems for both graduate and industry levels, grounded in practical applications.
- Assessing AI-generated solutions for accuracy, assumptions, and engineering rationale.
- Utilizing Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas) to validate analytical or numerical results.
- Refining AI reasoning to adhere to foundational principles and established engineering standards.
- Employing systematic scoring criteria to evaluate multi-step problem-solving approaches.
Candidate Profile
This role is ideal for mechanical engineers experienced in Python who are interested in part-time, non-permanent projects. Preferred qualifications include:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Design, or Computational Mechanics.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
- Proficient written English skills (C1/C2 level).
- Strong Python programming skills for numerical validation.
- A reliable internet connection.
Possession of professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, PMP) and experience in international or applied projects will be advantageous.

Compensation Details
Contributors can earn up to $12 per hour, depending on their experience and contribution pace. Note that compensation may vary across projects based on scope, complexity, and expertise required. Other projects on the platform may present different earning potentials.
