Key Responsibilities:
While each project presents unique tasks, contributors may:
- Create mechanical engineering problems suited for graduate and industry standards, rooted in real-world applications.
- Assess AI-generated solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and engineering rationale.
- Utilize Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas) to validate analytical or numerical outcomes.
- Refine AI reasoning to ensure alignment with foundational principles and recognized engineering standards.
- Employ structured evaluation criteria to gauge multi-step problem-solving capabilities.
Qualifications:
This role is ideal for mechanical engineers with Python expertise who are open to part-time, non-permanent projects. Preferred qualifications include:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Design, Computational Mechanics, etc.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
- Exceptional written English skills (C1/C2).
- Proficient in Python for numerical validation tasks.
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, PMP) and experience with international or applied projects are advantageous.

Project Commitment:
The anticipated workload for this project is around 10–20 hours per week during active project phases, based on specific project needs. This estimate is subject to change and applies only while the project remains active.
Compensation:
Contributors can earn up to $15 per hour, contingent upon their experience and contribution pace. Compensation levels may vary across projects based on their scope, complexity, and required expertise.
