Key Responsibilities:
- Craft innovative computational STEM problems that effectively simulate genuine scientific processes.
- Develop problems requiring Python programming for solutions.
- Design problems that demand substantial computational resources, making manual solutions impractical within a reasonable timeframe.
- Formulate challenges necessitating complex reasoning and creative problem-solving strategies.
- Utilize Python and its standard libraries (Numpy, Pandas, Scipy, scikit-learn) to verify solutions.
- Clearly document problem statements and provide validated correct answers.
Desired Qualifications:
This role is ideal for machine learning specialists with significant Python experience, interested in part-time, non-permanent projects. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of practical machine learning experience demonstrating tangible business impact.
- A portfolio showcasing completed projects and publications that highlight real-world problem-solving expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for data science, including libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms, methods, and their real-world applications.
- Proficiency in SQL and database operations for effective data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with GenAI technologies (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases).
- An understanding of MLOps practices and model deployment workflows.
- Experience with modern frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain.
- Strong written English skills (C1+).
