Role Overview:
As an interpreter, your responsibilities will include listening, understanding, and accurately reproducing content from the source language into the target language, ensuring clarity and precision throughout the process.
Your duties will encompass:
- Interpreting for clients accessing legal, health, and local government services.
- Verifying comprehension by checking the understanding of non-English speakers after each statement.
- Engaging in conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
- Handling highly confidential information with discretion.
- Facilitating communication between service users and service providers.
