Please be aware that this is a self-employed position.
The Role:
Your interpreting duties will involve listening to, understanding, and accurately reproducing content from the original 'source' language into the 'target' language without any loss of meaning.
You will:
- Interpret for clients utilizing legal, health, and local government services.
- Confirm comprehension with non-English speakers after each sentence.
- Engage in conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
- Handle highly confidential information responsibly.
- Act as a liaison between service users and providers.
