Note: This is a self-employed position.
The role involves listening to, comprehending, and accurately reproducing content from the source language into the target language. Responsibilities include:
- Facilitating communication for individuals utilizing legal, health, and local government services.
- Ensuring non-English speakers' comprehension after each statement.
- Providing conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
- Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Acting as a liaison between service users and providers.
