About the Role
As a contributor, you'll tackle various tasks depending on the project requirements, which may include:
- Developing complex energy engineering problems that mirror real-world practices;
- Assessing AI solutions for accuracy, assumptions, and limitations;
- Verifying calculations or simulations utilizing Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy;
- Enhancing AI reasoning to conform to industry-standard logic;
- Implementing structured scoring protocols for multi-step challenges.
Qualifications
This role is ideal for energy engineers with Python expertise who are interested in part-time, non-permanent positions. The preferred candidates will have:
- A degree in Energy Engineering or related disciplines, including Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or Electronics;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in energy engineering;
- Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2) in written communication;
- Strong proficiency in Python for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Possession of professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, EMP, CEM) and experience in international or applied projects will be advantageous.

Project Commitment
Active phases of projects are estimated to require about 10–20 hours per week, depending on specific project needs. This is an approximation and not a guaranteed workload during the active project duration.
Compensation
Participants have the potential to earn up to $15 per hour, depending on individual contributions and expertise. Compensation may differ across projects based on their complexity, scope, and required skills. Please note that various projects may offer different pay rates based on their specific requirements.
