Overview of Responsibilities
Contributors will engage in various project-specific tasks, which may include:
- Developing complex electrical engineering problems that simulate real-world scenarios.
- Assessing AI solutions for accuracy, assumptions, and limitations.
- Verifying calculations or simulations using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
- Enhancing AI reasoning to meet industry-standard logical frameworks.
- Implementing structured scoring metrics for multi-step problem-solving.
Desired Qualifications
This opportunity is ideal for electrical engineers with Python experience who are open to part-time, project-based work. The preferred candidates will possess:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines such as Electronics, Microelectronics, Embedded Systems, or Power Systems.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering.
- Excellent proficiency in written English (C1/C2 level).
- Strong skills in Python for numerical validation.
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, EUR ING, RPEQ) and experience in international projects are advantageous.
Project Workflow
Steps include: Apply → Complete qualifications → Join a project → Execute tasks → Receive payment.
Time Commitment
Active project involvement is estimated at 10–20 hours per week, depending on project needs. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload during active phases.
Compensation Details
- Compensated contributions with rates reaching $33/hour*.
- Fixed or individual project rates as applicable.
- Incentive payments may be available for certain projects.
