Opportunity Overview
While each project presents distinct challenges, contributors may:
- Develop complex electrical engineering problems that mirror real-world professional practices.
- Assess AI solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and constraints.
- Utilize Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy) to validate calculations or simulations.
- Enhance AI reasoning to conform to industry-standard logical frameworks.

Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is well-suited for electrical engineers with Python experience who are open to part-time, non-permanent projects. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields such as Electronics, Microelectronics, Embedded Systems, or Power Systems.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
- Proficient written English skills (C1/C2 level) and strong Python skills for numerical validation.
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, EUR ING, RPEQ) and experience with international or applied projects will be considered advantageous.

Project Engagement Expectations
The estimated workload for this project is around 10–20 hours per week during active phases, depending on project requirements. This is only an estimate and does not guarantee specific hours during active project phases.
Compensation
- Paid contributions, with rates up to $38/hour*.
- Compensation may be based on a fixed project rate or individual project rates.
- Some projects may offer bonus payments.
