Opportunity Overview
Each project presents distinct challenges, and contributors may be required to:
- Create advanced electrical engineering problems that mirror industry standards.
- Assess AI solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and limitations.
- Utilize Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy) to validate calculations or simulations.
- Enhance AI reasoning capabilities to conform to established industry logic.
- Implement structured scoring criteria for complex problems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is suited for electrical engineers with Python experience who are looking for part-time, non-permanent engagements. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field such as Electronics, Microelectronics, Embedded Systems, or Power Systems.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
- Fluent written English (C1/C2 level).
- High proficiency in Python for numerical validation tasks.
- A reliable internet connection.
Possession of professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, EUR ING, RPEQ) and experience in international or applied projects will be advantageous.

Project Commitment
For this project, tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, depending on project needs. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.
Compensation
- Compensation for contributions, with rates up to $38/hour*.
- Rates may be fixed per project or vary individually based on the project.
- Some projects may offer incentive payments.
*Note: Rates may differ based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project requirements, and other factors. Higher rates may be available for highly specialized experts. Reduced rates may apply during onboarding or non-core project phases. Payment specifics will be provided per project.
