About the job
We invite you to submit your CV in English, highlighting your level of English proficiency.
Mindrift bridges talented professionals with project-based AI opportunities at leading technology firms, emphasizing the testing, evaluation, and enhancement of AI systems. Please note that participation is on a project basis and does not constitute permanent employment.
Project Involvement Details:
Each project presents distinct challenges, and contributors may be tasked with:
- Crafting original computational data science problems that replicate real-world analytical processes across various sectors including telecommunications, finance, government, e-commerce, and healthcare.
- Developing problems necessitating Python programming solutions (utilizing libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Sklearn, Statsmodels, Matplotlib, and Seaborn).
- Ensuring that problems are computationally demanding and cannot be resolved manually within a feasible timeframe (days or weeks).
- Creating scenarios that require complex reasoning in data processing, statistical analysis, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and deriving insights.
- Designing deterministic problems with repeatable outcomes, avoiding stochastic factors, or requiring fixed random seeds for exact replication.
- Grounding problems in actual business challenges such as customer analytics, risk assessment, fraud detection, forecasting, optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Formulating end-to-end problems that encompass the entire data science workflow (data ingestion, cleaning, exploratory data analysis, modeling, validation, and deployment considerations).
- Incorporating big data processing situations that require scalable computational techniques.
- Validating solutions using Python and recognized data science libraries along with statistical methodologies.
- Clearly documenting problem statements with realistic business contexts and providing verified correct answers.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
This opportunity is well-suited for seasoned Data Science experts with Python experience, seeking part-time, non-permanent projects. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of practical data science experience with demonstrated business impact.
- A portfolio showcasing completed projects and publications that highlight real-world problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Python programming for data science (including pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, statsmodels).
- Extensive knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning, with a solid grasp of algorithms, methodologies, and their practical applications.
- Expertise in SQL and database operations for effective data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with Generative AI technologies (including LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases).
- An understanding of MLOps practices and model deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of contemporary frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain).
- Strong command of written English (C1+ level).
Application Process:
