As a Freelance Art Director at Hogarth, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the visual storytelling of brands across various projects, mainly focusing on video content. This hands-on creative position involves collaborating closely with creative, brand, motion, and production teams to lead projects from initial brief and concept development through design, art direction, execution, and final delivery, ensuring clear and effective translation of ideas into finished content.
The Art Director will oversee the execution of assigned projects by crafting key visuals, layouts, and final assets, as well as developing comprehensive storyboards that translate scripts and concepts into precise frames, shots, beats, and timing. Additionally, you will provide still art direction for photo and video shoots, defining the look and feel, developing visual references, and guiding creative decisions on set as necessary.
In addition to concept development and visual direction for videos, the Art Director will define and maintain visual consistency throughout all content, ensuring alignment with brand standards and objectives.
