About the Opportunity
While each project presents its unique challenges, contributors may:
- Design complex physics problems that mirror real-world applications;
- Assess AI solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and limitations;
- Validate calculations or simulations utilizing Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy;
- Enhance AI reasoning to ensure alignment with industry-standard logic;
- Implement structured scoring criteria for multi-step problem solving.
Candidate Profile
This opportunity is well-suited for physicists with Python experience who are interested in part-time, non-permanent projects. Ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Physics or related fields, such as Engineering Physics, Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, Optics, or Acoustics;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in physics;
- Proficient written English skills (C1/C2 level);
- Strong proficiency in Python for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPhys, EurPhys, MInstP) and experience in international or applied projects will be considered advantageous.

Project Time Commitment
For this role, tasks are estimated to require approximately 10-20 hours per week during active project phases. This is a rough estimate and does not guarantee a fixed workload.
Compensation
- Paid contributions at rates of up to $17/hour*
- Compensation may be based on fixed project rates or individual assessments, depending on the project.
- Incentive payments may be included in some projects.
